DIY Wine Cork Coasters

Have you ever wondered what to do with your wine corks? Here is a cheap and easy way to create rustic-looking coasters that everyone will love! When I have guests come over they fall in love with these coasters. It is also a great DIY gift idea.

If you can’t drink that much wine, just ask your friends to collect them for you or you can purchase them below. This upcycle DIY sure beats throwing them away!

DIY Wine Cork Coasters:

What you will need:

• makes 2 coasters

1. 8 wine corks for each coaster
2. Hot glue gun with glue sticks

Here is an example for making 2 wine cork coasters:

Step 1: Find corks of similar size and shape to pair together. Glue each pair in the same direction as shown. You will need 4 pairs for 1 coaster.

Step 2: Glue 2 pairs together in a perpendicular fashion. You should end up with 2 pieces for each coaster.

Step 3: Glue two 2 pieces (2 pairs already glued together) together in a perpendicular fashion again.

Your coaster is now finished and should look like this:
