Homemade All Purpose Cleaner

Homemade cleaners do not have to be expensive. This recipe is for homemade all purpose cleaner that costs about $3 per gallon to make. Can’t beat that!

With only 3 simple household ingredients, you can make an entire gallon or cut the recipe in halves or quarters and store in spray bottles or even as a cleaning concentrate for mopping etc by omitting the water.

I use this all around my house for cleaning counter tops, bathrooms, the kitchen, kid’s toys, the windows, appliances and so much more.

I always have these ingredients on hand along with my reusable glass spray bottle that is sustainable and eco-friendly.

Homemade All Purpose Cleaner:

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup white vinegar
  2. 1 tablespoon castile soap
  3. 20 drops lemon essential oil
  4. 2 half gallon mason jars (or reuse a gallon milk jug or something similar)

Directions:

Fill the remaining container with warm filtered water. This cleaner is perfect for all kinds of household cleaning! I love the lemon scent too.

  • Keep in mind that the $3 price is when you buy in bulk at the cheapest price. I buy all of these ingredients in bulk because I can use them for so many other things! Prices can vary by store and location. This price does not include the mason jars. Save money by reusing containers.
