This DIY belly rub supports mama’s skin, especially during and after pregnancy when your belly is changing. This recipe supports healthy skin and normal signs of aging. I used this recipe when I was pregnant and early postpartum with all three of my kids and I must say, it is amazing!!
I loved using this belly butter both during and after pregnancy to help heal my stretched skin. With a growing bump, it can become itchy and dry when you don’t keep your skin moisturized.
I’ve found that all of those store-bought belly lotions are pricey and like usual, I want to know what is inside the products I use, especially during pregnancy. That is why I decided to start making my own and it is super cheap to make.
Along with this belly rub, I used essential oils during pregnancy. But as always, consult your doctor about that. Mine supports the use of essential oils.

Do you think this would work years after have a baby? I’m wanting to try it, but if it has been used right when the stretch marks happen in pregnancy there may be no point.
Hi Crystal! I have heard that this recipe has worked for mamas who are several years postpartum but I know every body is different. Worth a try in my opinion 🙂 If anything it will make your skin feel smooth and moisturized.
