Homemade Soap Recipes

These homemade soap recipes use all natural ingredients and are super fun to make! You will need a few supplies designated for soap making including a glass mixing bowl, wooden mixing spoon, soap molds, glycerin soap base, cooking spray and food processor.

Citrus Herb Soap

Ingredients:

  1. The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
  2. Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
  3. Fresh herbs – I use basil, mint and rosemary

Directions:

  1. Blend the herbs in a food processor or blender.
  2. Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
  3. Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
  4. Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
  5. Stir in herbs and essential oils then pour into the molds.
  6. Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.

Rose Soap

Ingredients:

  1. The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
  2. Joy Essential Oil
  3. Rose Petals

Directions:

  1. Blend the rose petals in a food processor or blender.
  2. Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
  3. Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
  4. Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
  5. Stir in petals and essential oils then pour into the molds.
  6. Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.

Lavender Soap

Ingredients:

  1. The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
  2. Lavender Essential Oil
  3. Lavender Flowers

Directions:

  1. Blend the lavender in a food processor or blender.
  2. Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
  3. Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
  4. Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
  5. Stir in lavender and lavender essential oil then pour into the molds.
  6. Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.

Coconut Lime Soap

Ingredients:

  1. The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
  2. Lime Essential Oil
  3. Coconut Flakes

Directions:

  1. Blend the coconut flakes in a food processor or blender.
  2. Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
  3. Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
  4. Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
  5. Stir in coconut flakes and lime essential oil then pour into the molds.
  6. Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.

Gin & Tonic Soap

Ingredients:

  1. The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
  2. Essential Oils – Citrus Fresh and Juniper
  3. Fresh herbs – I use rosemary

Directions:

  1. Blend the herbs in a food processor or blender.
  2. Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
  3. Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
  4. Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
  5. Stir in herbs and essential oils then pour into the molds.
  6. Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.
