These homemade soap recipes use all natural ingredients and are super fun to make! You will need a few supplies designated for soap making including a glass mixing bowl, wooden mixing spoon, soap molds, glycerin soap base, cooking spray and food processor.
Citrus Herb Soap
Ingredients:
- The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
- Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
- Fresh herbs – I use basil, mint and rosemary
Directions:
- Blend the herbs in a food processor or blender.
- Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
- Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
- Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
- Stir in herbs and essential oils then pour into the molds.
- Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.
Rose Soap
Ingredients:
- The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
- Joy Essential Oil
- Rose Petals
Directions:
- Blend the rose petals in a food processor or blender.
- Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
- Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
- Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
- Stir in petals and essential oils then pour into the molds.
- Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.
Lavender Soap
Ingredients:
- The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Lavender Flowers
Directions:
- Blend the lavender in a food processor or blender.
- Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
- Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
- Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
- Stir in lavender and lavender essential oil then pour into the molds.
- Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.
Coconut Lime Soap
Ingredients:
- The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
- Lime Essential Oil
- Coconut Flakes
Directions:
- Blend the coconut flakes in a food processor or blender.
- Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
- Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
- Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
- Stir in coconut flakes and lime essential oil then pour into the molds.
- Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.
Gin & Tonic Soap
Ingredients:
- The above supplies, glycerin soap base and cooking spray.
- Essential Oils – Citrus Fresh and Juniper
- Fresh herbs – I use rosemary
Directions:
- Blend the herbs in a food processor or blender.
- Spray soap molds with cooking spray.
- Put the glycerin in the bowl and melt in the microwave using 30 second increments.
- Once melted, stir to make it is thoroughly melted and there are no chunks.
- Stir in herbs and essential oils then pour into the molds.
- Let it harden sitting out for 1-2 hours or quicker in the fridge.
