I admit, I am a huge coffee lover, but there are times when I’d love to enjoy coffee without the caffeine kick. When I was pregnant and breastfeeding with each of my three kids, I limited my caffeine intake significantly. I know other moms and moms-to-be can relate! The struggle is real! Decaf coffee still has caffeine it in and the acid is never my friend. Cue herbal coffee. Have you heard of it? I will get to that in a minute! I’ve also included a dairy free mushroom adaptogen latte recipe you will love!

I was SO excited when Teeccino asked to partner with me because I have been LOVING their herbal coffee blends! Seriously, it is my current obsession. I am so excited to share more about what herbal coffee is and how you can enjoy it as a dairy-free latte any time of day.
What is Herbal Coffee?

Herbal coffee looks like coffee, tastes like coffee and brews just like coffee, except it does not contain coffee beans whatsoever. Some of the ingredients include carob pods, chicory root and dates. It is naturally caffeine free and acid free. If you often deal with acid reflux or acid sensitivity issues, this is a great coffee alternative.
My favorite time of day to enjoy herbal coffee is in the afternoon when I am craving a cup of coffee but do not want anymore caffeine. With that said, you can be a coffee drinker and still enjoy herbal coffee.
What Are The Benefits of Herbal Coffee?
Today I am sharing information specifically about Teeccino’s herbal coffees, including their mushroom adaptogen blend called Organic Chaga Ashwagandha Butterscotch Cream. Teeccino herbal coffees have natural prebiotics which help support gut health and improve digestion. The nutrients from their herbal coffee also gives you a natural energy boost without any caffeine.
Rather than adding to your stress level like a caffeinated drink might do, herbal coffee can help you adapt to stress better. If you’re looking to kick your caffeine habit, this is the way to do it! It is also a great coffee alternative for pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
What Are Adaptogens?
First let me preface, there is no mushroom taste in mushroom adaptogen herbal coffee. This delicious blend uses the adaptogenic mushroom, Chaga, and the adaptogenic herb, Ashwagandha. You can still benefit from the adaptogens without comprising the taste. Adaptogens are great for stress management, boosting endurance and supporting the immune system. Do you have a coffee that can do all of that?!?

I am a huge butterscotch fan so this one is definitely one of my favorite blends! This latte recipe is 100% dairy free, vegan, sugar free and of course, caffeine free. You can definitely substitute ingredients if you wish. You can enjoy this herbal coffee latte as an iced or hot beverage. Today, I made an iced latte.

Directions:
