Uses for Castile Soap

The uses of castile soap are endless! If you aren’t familiar with castile soap, it is an all-purpose, concentrated, oil-based soap that does not contain synthetic ingredients. I always have a big jug of castile soap in my house at all times.

We live near the Dr. Bronner’s warehouse which I have visited before to buy products right from their facility. They have so many great natural products that we use frequently around here.

A bottle of castile soap will last me at least 6-12 months, since it is a concentrated soap and can be diluted as needed. I am talking diluting it with at least 2 parts water.

They also list a ton of uses right on their bottles which makes it easy. If you need some more ideas, here are some uses for castile soap below. I also carry their little travel sized bottles with me when we travel since that will more than last the entire trip when I dilute it.

It is especially great for the kids if I need to give them a bath and do not want to pack multiple products – shampoo, bubble bath, hand soap, dish soap, etc. I just use it for all of the above!

Here are some of awesome uses for castile soap:

  1. Homemade Soap
  2. To remove labels, stickers or residue.
  3. Homemade All Purpose Cleaner
  4. Spot & Stain Remover Spray
  5. Homemade Baby Wipes
  6. Homemade Laundry Detergent
