I love essential oils! I love diffusing them, I use them all around my house and the possibilities are endless. I diffuse for my kids, for myself and for the whole family. There are so many benefits. Below are 20 benefits of diffusing essential oils that might surprise you.
Diffusing safely releases essential oils into the air to eliminate odors and support the body. The diffuser breaks down the essential oils into millions of microparticles that get dispersed into the air. Cool, huh? I diffuse every single day and in every single room in my home, including my kids’ rooms.
Did you know that the air inside of our homes contain 2-5 times more contaminants than the air outside?!? And 75% of American homes use synthetic air fresheners that contain numerous amount of chemical agents that have been linked to cancer (like formaldehyde).
When you see the term “fragrance” remember that it can include up to 300 toxic chemicals even if it only says “fragrance” on the label. Instead, diffuse all natural essential oils.
Here are 20 amazing benefits of diffusing essential oils:
- Helps alleviate occasional nervous irritability.
- To refresh the body and mind.
- Promotes emotional well-being.

- Encourages proper nasal function.
- Provides nervous system support during times of stress.

- Occasional nervous tension.
- For nervousness due to common, everyday overwork and fatigue.

In order to get the full benefits of diffusing essential oils, it is important to use high quality essential oils. Start by doing your research and finding what is right for you.
Things to look for are what grade of oils they are (perfume, cosmetic, therapeutic grade), if they are for topical or aromatherapy use only, whether or not the company owns their own farms or whether they get their oils from third party distributors or farms, how the oils are distilled and whether or not chemical solvents are used, whether or not the plants are grown organically or not, etc.
I like using Young Living. They own their own farms and be involved of the production of their oils from start to finish (what they call their “seed to seal” promise). I know at this day and age everyone knows someone who sells essential oils so either hit them up or find another brand you like.
