Healthy Chocolate Shake

I love sweets! And I love ice cream! I wish I could eat it everyday, but unfortunately it is not the best for our health and is high in fat and sugar. With this easy and delicious recipe you can have your ice cream and eat it too 🙂

This healthy chocolate shake has no ice cream, is low in sugar, low in fat and tastes just like a real chocolate shake! No joke!!

Although this recipe calls for one whole frozen banana, I promise you it does not have a strong banana taste. The banana is what makes it naturally sweet, thick and creamy like a real ice cream shake. 

What you need:

  1. 1 frozen banana
  2. 1 cup of milk or your favorite dairy substitute such as almond, soy or coconut milk
  3. 1 tablespoon of pure cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. Optional – 1 tablespoon peanut butter, chia seeds

Directions:

Blend it all up in a vitamix or blender and enjoy!
